It has come to my attention that you're looking for a blog that does things that Jalopnik, for one reason or another, can't.

I'm not quite sure what exactly the staff at Jalopnik is capable of (I'd imagine it's quite a lot), but I have yet to see something similar to what I've done with my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! series, where I chronicle the buying, restoring and selling of cars I find particularly interesting.

This could be really cool I think. Especially if you set yourself a start-point and an end-goal. Say 'I'm going to start with $2000, and buy-and-sell my way up to an E92 M3*' or something like that. Just to show that it can be done :)

*or any mid-to-high priced desirable car

I have a ledger in which I keep all the costs and ROI for each car. I'm working my way up to an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and I'm pretty sure I can do it this year.

Thanks! I'm working on a few right now. After I sell my M5 I'll go into something more vintage. Perhaps a '76 Porsche 911 or E-Type Jag.

M3 and S600 flips were especially entertaining reads. You're a crazy man and a genius in equal measures. If something would of gone wrong on the Benzo... you even daily drove it! Nice Brabus wheels too. A la Kim Schmitz Gumball 3000 circa 2002-2004.
